You won't open it most days. Good.
A gym membership is a promise you make to yourself about who you are, and most days you don't go. Alphatac is the same kind of promise, with one difference: on the day you need it, it is the only thing in your pocket that still works. So the membership does its job quietly. Your plan shows how complete it is. A seasonal checklist arrives. A ten-minute drill shows up once a month. New content lands. And the map works the night it has to.
What you keep if you leave.
What happens to my library if I cancel?
Every pack you downloaded stays on your device and stays readable, including through the plain reader that needs no app. The library is a file you own. What stops is the service: updates, new content, the tools, the plan, the family map, and support.
What does the $1 trial actually give me?
Everything, for fifteen days, on every device you sign in on. It converts to the monthly plan on day sixteen unless you cancel, and cancelling is one tap in the app or one email.
Why is there a monthly plan for something I won't use daily?
Because readiness is a standing promise, not a daily habit, and a small monthly amount is how most people keep a promise like that. The membership renews the promise: your plan's completeness, a seasonal checklist, a monthly ten-minute drill, and new content. If you would rather decide once, the annual and lifetime plans exist for exactly that.
Is the Family Kit a subscription?
No. The kit is a one-time purchase that includes a year of membership for the household. After the year, the radios and the Node keep working with the plan you choose.
Do I buy through the App Store?
You buy on alphatac.app. The phone app links to the same purchase. That keeps the price where it is instead of thirty percent higher.
Will founding prices go up?
Prices after early access may be higher. Founding members keep their founding price for as long as they stay members.
